Frequently Asked Questions

How do I apply?
Submit your portfolio through our contact form specifying "Artist Application." The curatorial committee (Art Net Zero + Drap-Art) reviews each edition by material affinity, technique, and thematic fit.
Who selects the artists?
A joint committee of Art Net Zero's creative direction and Drap-Art's curatorial team. Selection criteria: experience with recovered materials, artistic vision, and alignment with the edition's theme.
Who owns the artwork?
The artist retains authorship and intellectual property. Ownership terms for sales are agreed per edition — artists receive a fair percentage defined before participation.
What materials will I receive?
Classified and catalogued post-event materials: banners, circuit graphics, carbon fiber components, metals, plastics, and hospitality structures. All non-sensitive and cleared for artistic use.
What support do I receive?
Transport of materials, curatorial guidance, production space coordination, exhibition installation support, and inclusion in all official communications, press and digital channels.
Is there compensation?
Yes. Artists receive a production fee and a percentage of auction proceeds. Exact terms are defined per edition and formalized in a participation agreement.

Sponsor Benefits at a Glance

What does a sponsorship include?
Logo placement across all Art Net Zero communications, exclusive artworks created from your materials, VIP hospitality activation, official Impact Report inclusion, and touring collection branding.
How is the impact measured?
We track and report: volume of materials reused (kg), estimated CO₂ avoided, number of artworks produced, public attendance, auction proceeds, and media reach — all delivered in an auditable Impact Report.
Can we have exclusive artworks?
Yes. Sponsors can commission exclusive artworks created specifically from their brand's materials by a selected Art Net Zero artist. These can be acquired, donated to institutions, or used for internal culture programs.
Is sensitive brand data protected?
Absolutely. Materials are reviewed and classified before artistic use. Any sensitive commercial or technical information is excluded. Only visually and materially appropriate elements are used.
How does this connect to our Net Zero strategy?
Art Net Zero provides a complementary layer to your existing sustainability strategy — transforming what was linear (make → use → discard) into circular (make → use → transform → culture). That story resonates with stakeholders, media, and consumers.

Your Event.
Transformed into
Permanent Legacy.

For circuit operators, race promoters, and city organizations — Art Net Zero converts your temporary event infrastructure into a lasting cultural presence. Every Grand Prix becomes a cultural foundation stone.

How a Partnership Works

When does the collaboration begin?
Ideally 6–9 months before the event. This allows time for material classification, artist selection, production, and exhibition design. Early alignment also enables integration with official F1 communication plans.
What do we provide?
Access to post-event materials (banners, signage, hospitality components), a designated space for exhibition during race week, and alignment with the circuit's operational teams. Art Net Zero handles everything else.
What happens to the artworks after?
Artworks become part of the international touring collection, traveling to galleries, cultural institutions, and future F1 editions. The host city retains the right to keep selected works as a permanent legacy donation.
Is this aligned with Formula 1's official sustainability program?
Art Net Zero is designed to complement and amplify F1's Net Zero 2030 goals. We are an independent platform seeking formal alignment with F1 Sustainability, and our Madrid 2027 edition is structured to serve as a measurable proof of concept.
Can we co-brand the exhibition?
Yes. Promoters can co-brand the Art Net Zero exhibition within their circuit, creating a jointly owned cultural asset that amplifies both the event brand and the sustainability narrative.
